Math 121 with Ramesh was a great course especially since I'm a non-traditional student and haven't taken a math class since I received my Associates degree 3 years ago. It is also nice that this class will transfer in as 3 math courses at CSU. more »

Classes can be easy online but when the tests are at the testing center it helps a lot. The score you get on it reflects How much you have truly learned. Luckily I took the time to learn it and the sheet of paper allowed was not necessary. I put in the work doing all the reviews provided which helped me retain the information. I'm sure there are those that passed with doing half the work I did but since I'm going into nursing I didn't want to cheat myself. Pathophysiology was challenging to me. more »

Too easy, not engaging, professor not always available in a timely manner and technical difficulties made things inconvenient at times. more »

LOVED the enthusiasm of both of my instructors. They are knowledgeable and passionate about their subjects. Did not get involved in Study Group soon enough in Statistics, would recommend on the first day the instructor recommends setting up a study group and unless you are a math whiz, a tutor. The study group that formed chose not to announce to the class so I didn't discover it until the last three weeks of class. Not their fault, I should have asked sooner. At any rate, it was extremely helpful, I didn't pass, but did much better than I would have. more »

Really enjoyed how the curriculum was set up. Usually Taking summer classes is a drag as there is so much work in so little time but I felt that I had plenty of time to complete assignments for MAT 166. Also a plus that instructor Mike Kelly was both entertaining and intelligent. He was willing to move quickly through a subject or spend as much time as needed so that everyone was on the same page. I wish I could have him for Calc next semester! more »

I took two classes online this summer. I enjoyed the content of the courses. It took a little while to adjust to the two different structures of the courses. I didn't love that the classes were based on textbooks, but one was better than the other. My professors were great at communicating and made big efforts to get the class participating on the online classroom. more »

Kyra Sandstrom was absolutely AWESOME. She'd get 10/5 stars for her teaching style. However... Not every teacher is on her level. So weighing her 10 stars with other teachers' half assed efforts, 4/5 overall. I am enjoying the friendly culture, especially where I didn't expect to find it. What I mean is that receptionists are expected to be welcoming, but in places like the cafeteria or the bookstore, I've never seen such friendly people as at FRCC. So keep it up! I'm happy to be a student here. more »
