Conslong commute, VERY low pay, no benefits
It was a long way to travel for the pay. At first, I got to teach a variety of courses, but these dimin

Totally loved everything about this community college! Front Range Community College was the first college I ever attended as I graduated high school in 2016. I had no idea what I was doing as in financial aid, scheduling for class, etc. But Front Range helped me out so much. The advisers were super nice and very open about my choices in classes. They helped out as much as they could to get me on the right track. Financial aid helped me out with all the papers that I had to turn in and how to accept my awards and etc. When attending classes in the fall of 2016, all the teachers were amazing! Very outgoing and helpful to anything that was needed. Spring of 2016, I took online classes and it was a big change as I never did online before but classes were great! The teachers would answer all the emails in a timely matter. Some of the teachers would tell you when they answer emails and when it would be a good time to email them. They all gave really good tips if they saw multiple people making the same mistakes. Unfortunately, I transferred to a different school because of how far to commute was as I was traveling 45+ minutes to attend FRCC. Since I have been transferring, FRCC made it super easy for me to order my transcripts which are super cheap to order! I was also able to send my transcripts from FRCC to my new college online, which was super nice as it was way easier and faster to do! I'm going to miss FRCC as my experience was great with all the staff that work here. Thank you FRCC for giving me a good, first year college experience! more »

Workplace is very wonderful. Management really cares about employees and students. Student classes are small and this allows you as an instructor to really have an impact on students and their learning. more »

Overall a good experience, a bit challenging & stressful this semester, but with hard work I can truly say it was satisfying. :) The staff, lab monitors, teachers are supportive & helpful. more »

I have completed one semester. I have her cc. Yet I've had of lifetime of acceptance and care. From the day of enrollment, on through the end of last semester, as flustered as I was somedays, I really never had a worry in the world. There's always someone here to help you out when you need it. FRCC Really will help pave your road to success! more »

ProsGreat for students
ConsNo benefits
I worked in both the Financial Aid & Admissions & Records Departments as a work-study. This worked great with my school schedule as a single mom. The
work was typical office duties, however, since you have access to private student information it is necessary to be able to hold sensitive material in confidence. more »

I like it. The class is perfect for me. I did not need to drive all the way to Laramie. My main campus is Westminster. Unfortunately they do not over the class that I need and Laramie does, so I took it. The class is very unique. Most students were from different campuses and student had choices to attend the class in campus or online. I did it online. Perfect. more »

One of the best Spring semesters by far. Took three Computer Networking classses and learned a great deal in each of them. Shout out to David Heib's Virtual Environment Admin class which was great for newcomers and more advanced students. I will be returning in the fall to pursue my second degree which is Cybersecurity/Cloud Computing. more »
