During our time at Aegis, the staff was very involved with the care of my mom. As a family member I liked knowing who was actively involved with my mom's care. They were very friendly and peasant and easy to talk to. A variety of activities were offered each day and as family, I was also welcome to join. The apartment my mom lived in was cozy with a personal bathroom. There was enough space in the room for her hospital bed, two sitting chairs, and a cabinet with a television. Staff has generally been responsive. The general manager has changed. The quality of care has been good. The facility is clean. Food is good with options. Level of activities is good. Care for [name removed] dog has been uneven.
They have friendly and attentive staff. There are lots of activities and engagement. I would recommend them to others, the only concern is cost - it is expensive. I did enjoy being there as well, visiting my mom. They are very open to visitors and make it a wonderful experience for everyone.
Our overall experience was wonderful. They were very helpful and transporting and assisting in the transitioning of my mom from home to assisted living. That can be a very difficult experience that they made it as easy as possible. The staff and caregivers that took care of mom we're kind and gentle. Her room was perfect for what she needed.. The facility was well maintained.
Some critical things in my wife's care were ignored. They gave her no naps and expected her to lie in bed for 12 hours with no TV or music in the room. There was a TV but no controller for two weeks. My daughter visited one week in and asked them to get the TV working but they never did.
Staff is welcoming, friendly, and engaging. The facility is very clean, and freshly popped popcorn made the facility smell wonderful. There are a variety of activities that keep an active and busy lifestyle within the community. We were there so briefly. There were several great things we experienced in the short time my mom lived at Aegis.
The staff has great communication. Because I was not always physically their in Vegas to be with Terry they were very intentional about keeping me up to date about his progress and any incidents that happened. Their activity team is phenomenal. They are always making sure that the tenants are engaged or trying to engage them as much as possible.

What I would add is that it takes some time for the adjustments of a new home. I highly recommend Aegis living. My mom made many wonderful friends, especially with the staff. They all came to love her and they shared that with my sister and I. It was a very tough transition for her because she was so used to being independent, but after her stroke, she needed much more help and they provided it. It wasn't easy for us, as her children, to make the decision to place her in memory care, but she needed it and we could not give h... read more
