I helped to get a friend moved in here. This place is absolutely incredible. Stunningly beautiful interior setting in an easy centralized location. The food is fantastic and the activities director customizes options for the residents and is kind and caring. The director Rabah is top notch. Aegis San Rafael is truly a special place. The staff here are absolutely amazing kind, attentive, and genuinely committed to the well-being of everyone in the community. Aegis San Rafael has almost been open one year and they are still working out the kinks in staffing, service, finance and care. The facility is beautiful and the rooms and bathrooms have the latest features and technology for safety. The care team is young and inexperienced, clearly most of them don't have assisted living experience. The dining room is seriously understaffed. they are supposed to have food and service available from 7 am - 7 pm - it's printed on the menus.
