Sean, Service Tech Sean (Kitchener) serviced my Furnace and A/C. Very courteous and pleasant to deal with. I would be happy to have him return for further servicing on my unit. However, I would not recommend Air-One to install any Furnace or AC unit due to past experience. My HVAC unit was compromised by 2 installers who had a total lack of respect and knowledge of the equipment. Get a second opinion Technician James came to my house Nov 22/18. Said my furnace was needed replaced and could condemn it as unsafe. Refused to service it but charged me the service call. Called a company on York rd. Fixed a crack in the condensation trap and replaced a missing cap. Service charge only. No new furnace needed. I may add that I am a female senior. Aire one did call and apologize and refunded the visit

furnace AC and humidifier replacement other than a few oversights on the installations all went well. example: drain line fasteners over tightened and caused a restriction in the flow to the drain. Floor joist not reinforced after drilling holes for the ducts to pass through. Poor cleanup of work area after installation finished. Insulation not done on inside of wall where pipes passed through.

Service call on Furnace The furnace fan won't turn on so I called Aire One to come check it out. The tech (Cyrus) showed up at the allotted time, and told me blower motor is seized. Basically, it is a $2000 fix. And he strongly recommends not to fix it, instead I can buy new furnace and AC units with them. The cost to replace your blower motor was $783.40 on the service paper you signed but the inducer motor and condensate pan also needed to be replaced for your furnace to be winter ready. Severe misdiagnosis nearly lead to huge outlay On the weekend of June 10, our air conditioner was not working. The compressor fan was not spinning. I called Aire One, who'd originally installed it in 2003. They were able to get a service person out fairly quickly (Monday the 12th). Cyrus came to the house and was friendly and polite. Within 5 minutes (that's generous) he had "diagnosed" the problem as a seized compressor and disappeared into his truck to find out how much a new one would cost. We have spoken at length with Cyrus and his notes ensure that the capacitor was in tack. High amp drop of compressors can cause capacitors to blow. The capacitor must disengage after a few seconds or it will overheat and a compressor or fan motor that drags due to damage or worn bearings might cause the capacitor to burn up. Water heater pilot I called on a friday and ended up with a saturday 2-5 slot. Service man came by 4 and was great. He lit the pilot and discussed other services. The pilot went out within an hour of him leaving. I called for them to send someone back out and was told they would send out for a call. I called 4 times that evening and no return call. I am now on the second day and again the call centre is saying they can only send out for a service call. I will finish up this service but will not be calling again.
