Our carpet was showing wear and very hard to clean so we decided to replace it with hardwood floors. We knew very little about hardwood floors and were uncertain about which type to go with. We like to use a locally owned company for any home repairs or improvements as we feel we can trust and communicate with on a more personal basis. When I placed my order with Carpet One, I told them I needed to save money for three months before they started the installation. I started getting bills right away and had to make payments before they ever started the work. When they did the work, they tiled in front of my dishwasher, and now that it is broken, I cannot get it out. For over a year I have had to do without a dishwasher because the only way to get it out is to break out the tiles. They also messed up my upstairs toilet so that now it leaks into my living room... read more
