I had made the big move from Boston mass to Columbus Ohio. I had a good moving company and had hired all my sons to be there when the truck showed up to put together all of my new furniture I had hired off of Amazon. Almost every item in the house was brand new. I started from scratch. I paid a few thousand dollars for four men, to be here for 6 to 7 hours. I don’t recommend using All My Son’s Moving. We just had a horrible experience with their upcharges for simply having a crew help with unloading pods for my parent’s new house in Grove City. Their quote for unloading 3 pods was $1100 and after two pods we are up to $1600. Their own crew offered to undercut the last pod if we agreed to the third day. She. I was quoted $500.00 and price almost doubled for a cross town move (pick up from store and delivery. Moving from (Hilliard to Berwick) of three pieces of furniture ! I wasn’t able to complete my request because of their BS. I’m so pissed and the manager was rude and wanted to argue with me. I ended up paying $577.98 for a PARTIAL move !! (It was not completed to my request- I needed to hire someone else) I’ll never use ALL MY SONS MOVERS again.
I’m not a whiner but this needs said. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. EVER. We scheduled a move today for our new place 10 minutes away. They never sent an estimator to check out what needed moved. They showed up an hour late but the driver called to let us know. That’s when the driver asked how much stuff we have. They came in the house, took pictures and then told us they couldn’t do it. They had a 26 foot truck and they just GOT IN IT AND DROVE AWAY. AFTER READING NOTHING BUT NEGATIVE REVIEWS I FEEL BLESSED. WHAT A S**T company.
When I scheduled the movers I was told I would be called the week prior to find out what time the movers would be at our place. I was not called, I had to call the office 3 different days before I found out what time they were actually coming. I was not notified that everything had to be in a sealed container. The movers would not take my kitchen aide mixer, also a 2 drawer plastic container, lamps and a several other things. I want to start by saying thanks to the 2 men who stuck out the job and did a decent job. Could have moved a little quicker and been more careful with some of my stuff, but all-in-all, they did the job they were asked to do. They did the best they could do with the pathetic management, training, and direction they are clearly (not) given. As for the company, I’d never use them again. I definitely got scammed too!!! After reading the comments and reviews we might need to get a class action law suit going. I Do Not recommend All My Sons👎. Was grossly Overcharged 189/hour for 2/bdrm townhouse moving one block over and certain prices/fees were not mentioned correctly I ended up paying $1500 which also included 189/mile for less than 0.5mies. The worst experience I've ever had moving. I was to have a 3 man crew but only a two man crew showed up. I called and they cut down the price. They complained that I did not list everything I had, I forgot to list my sewing machine, a pilate machine, I had a few more little stands than I listed and two floor lamps, a small blanket storage seat. so I told them not to take anything they were suppose to. but the truck was loaded before they could put all the things listed, like my patio set, a barrister bookcase all my cabin... read more
