I had an ice maker that stopped working, I submitted a claim online and within 24 hours I received a call from squaretrade settling the claim.

I have used the company on the past and was happy with their service. The last time they changed the rules. I couldn't take the printer back to the store as before. I had to file a "claim" and then they would decide what to do. The company "Depreciated" the printer even though it was a factory replacement only a few months old. They depreciated the unit from the initial purchase date. A real rip off to the customer. Saved the company a few bucks but, if you rip off enough people I sure it adds up to some serious money. Disappointed that Replacement was not current year model. Transport of replacement TV was problematic. TV was delivered a day late and dropped off at front door. not the white glove service I was expecting. Also the bottom exterior of the TV box was extremely dirty, leaving marks on my carpet which will have to be professionally cleaned.

I had an issue with Microsoft Win 10 and instead of fixing it they sent me money. Lost all my data (probably would have anyways). Thanks Microsoft! Purchased a new PC with Win 7 Pro.

I found this process frustrating because I couldn't speak to someone regarding the issue. I uploaded my receipt for the purchase of my phone when I bought it 1 1/2 years ago. When I went to file a claim, it said I didn't have a receipt on fie. It took 3 or 4 times before the receipt that I fortunately still had was finally accepted by the program. Very frustrating. Waste of money for their tv plan. They will not cover.
