The room was quiet, spacious and clean. The bed was comfortable. The hotel is right on 88 yet I heard nary a car. Everything about the experience supported what I needed most and that was a good nights sleep! Every member of the staff I met was helpful right from handling my reservation to my check-out (including me locking myself out of the room!) My nephew and brother stayed as well and this is now our go-to hotel in the area.

Cute little hotel. Seems recently renovated. Close to Kirkwood (50 minutes) and lake Tahoe.

We had the most wonderful 2-nights stay at this hotel, my two (very picky!) teens loved it! Fresh renovated rooms, everything new and clean and impeccable, I loved wooden ceilings and huge windows facing beautiful forest. Amazing very hospitable and attentive crew, they treat you like family! There is a nice restaurant with pool tables and good food and drinks. Great place to stay at if you're just looking somewhere to crash before heading to Kirkwood early in the am. The rooms are clean and roomy. No nasty stains on the tubs or toilets. Nice view from the rooms. Theirs a restaurant right next to it as well, which is convenient.

We had a lovely Valentine’s Day experience with a great display of flowers, chocolates, candles, and Prosecco in our room! The staff was friendly and had great follow up from reservation to check out. Clean room. The only negative feedback was the loud noise from the upstairs guest walking back and forth. They need to change the flooring to carpet upstairs!
