We contracted a carpet removal & vinyl flooring install job through Home Depot and are incredibly satisfied with the outcome. The installer was friendly, patient while we made decisions, and made sure we were totally satisfied before packing up. The floor looks fantastic and so does all of the trim work/transition strips.
We purchased carpeting from The Home Depot and American Carpet from Waterbury performed the installation. The carpet we chose is of a mid-level grade. It feels great to walk on it. As for the pad that fits underneath the carpet, it is of good quality. It is for an apartment that is above another one, so along with cushioning your feet when walking on it, it muffles the sound a little better as well. After a nightmare of a countertop installation from a different contracted company thru Home Depot- American Carpet (also contracted thru HD) was a breath of fresh air. Todd came out and was honest about doing my backsplash and how it wouldn’t look good until the other company fixed their issue- After a couple weeks of stressful encounters with the other company it was finally resolved and Todd came back and did an awesome job on my backsplash. 100% recommend this company
This company was referred to put in tile on my basement floor through Home Depot. Two times they came to my house and were very unprofessional. The first time they came in and left without saying a word. Then I didn’t hear from them directly, only through Home Depot. Very little communication happened directly with me and them, only through Home Depot, which was not clear on either part.
