I went to five carpets stores in Pensacola to check pricing when it came to American Carpets the salesman explained every option in detail and answered all my questions. The same salesman came and measured my home, and to my surprise what was quoted to me in the store was actually higher than what I paid when the measurements were totaled. WONDERFUL SALES STAFF - BUT INSTALLATION ABSOLUTELY S*CKED !!! HAD TO REPLACE DEN FLOOR COMPLETELY. + THEY CUT KITCHEN FLOORING WRONG AND LEFT PATCHES IN CORNERS !! + THEY FORGOT BASEBOARD, SENT CREW TO HOME DEPOT TO BUY RAW STOCK & FR*GGIN' STAINED IT LAYING ON THE NEW FLOORING !!!! WHEN INSTALLATION SUPERVISOR CAME TO LOOK AT DAMAGE - HE OK'D REPLACING THE ONE RUINED ROOM, BUT SCOFFED AT THE PATCHES IN KITCHEN AND DID NOTHING TO FIX IT... FOR TILE GO SOME WHERE ELSE AMERICAN SENT UNRELIABLE CONTRACTORS TO INSTALL THE TILE AND USED DEFECTIVE GROUT. AMERICAN CUSTOMER SERVICE IS POOR. AMERICAN PREFERRED TO COSMETICALLY FIX THE JOB RATHER THAN FIX THE PROBLEM. IF YOU WANT TILE SHOP AROUND AND GO SOME WHERE ELSE THAN AMERICAN TILE
