I had a group of pretty serious foodies visiting in Gig Harbor and was looking for a restaurant that they would enjoy and that would showcase a bit of Gig Harbor and the Pacific Northwest. Specifically in Gig Harbor, Anthony's gets poo-pooed by the younger crowd a bit because the usual dinner clientele does skew on the older side, but to be completely honest I regret not eating there more. Great Service, Great view, Great Food. Doesn't get better than that.
I enjoyed the Poke for lunch - it was well prepared and delicious! My dining partner had the crab cakes, and reported that they were also delicious.
This has been on my bucket list for 16 years. It’s great.
Even though we had a reservation, we waited for a table. I had requested a quiet table by the window for our Anniversary, the first table we were offered was right next to the only walkway to the lower level. I saw a table by the window. and asked if we could be seated there. After we received our menus, it was almost 10 minutes before our server arrived. No water til we asked for it. Great North West seafood. I had a NY steak this time. It wasn't the best cut I've ever had but it was prepared well.
