Room was dirty along with the towels, staff were rude and made you feel like you were a bother. Checked in at 11 pm at night and people were left standing because room weren't cleaned. Parking is horrendous because u have to park another street back from hotel.
Not a Holiday Destination anymore Have stayed multiple times and have always had maid service, but not on this trip. Even when requested. Was told this is a condo community and we needed to service rooms ourselves. Also a big draw to this location was for its large outdoor hotub, but was out-of-service all 5 days we stayed. Always being promised it would be fixed very soon. Should have left after Day 1 since so many other options in Myrtle Beach.
The rooms were not the cleanest, my wifes slippers turn black the first night and my white socks turned black also from dirty floors. We told the office clerk about the floors and nothing was ever done about cleaning them We had to walk over to the other building to get our keys program every day for a week. My wife and I are in our 80'S and that wasn't fun when you are on the 12th floor. Twice we had to go over and get toilet paper because we ran out in the middle of the week.
My overall experience was very bad it took forever to book him a room the glass door wouldn’t close very unsafe not what we were expecting
Pointless charge for cleaning fee! Young lady at front desk was very pleasant and helpful. Hotel is dated, bedding was dirty on both beds , looked like past guess ate M&M's in the bed and wiped their hand on it(which were far from comfortable), floor needed a good sweeping, coffee pot wasn't clean and the washer and dryer didn't work properly. No intentions of booking here in the future.
Would not stay at this hotel again Room not ready upon arrival, had to wait for new room. Never brought clean towels. Room very outdated. No luggage carts, very slow elevator. Was told it was pet free, but saw several dogs with guest.
One star for oceanfront, on the beach. We were in Tower I, hotel was run down, hallway smelled (really bad), worse than the room. Windows were dirty, bugs in room, no hot water in shower, no dishwasher, but did have packets of dishwasher detergent???? Received clean towels once for 4 day stay, did not make beds (and we did not have any personal items on them to prevent them from making them). We chose to stay there because we had looked at units to buy online, but once we checked in we knew there was no way we would buy ther... read more
Terrible! The room leaked and smelled terrible. I informed the office and they said they would send maintenance up to dry the floors which never happened. We had bad sinus problems both nights in the leaky hotel room. They said we could switch rooms but assured us that the hotel just leaks and it was normal. The hotel pictures look better than the real thing. There is no handicap accessibility. There are many steps in the front that you must carry all luggage up.I was perplexed as to how it any handicap or even below average... read more
