This was our second stay at the Atlantica and will be our last. Our room was not ready at check in time and took over an hour to be cleaned and "ready" for us. We had to sit on the sidewalk with all of our stuff waiting. Once we finally got in the room we found drugs in one of the dresser drawers. Not acceptable especially with little ones running around. The lazy river did not seem to be cleaned each day. Seems like the hotel has gone down hill in the last year.
The worse resort we've ever been! When we've arrived, we've been very exited. The outside look of the hotel was nice, the location was great, walking distance from the boardwalk. As soon as we walked in into the building, we've got disappointed. First - the smell! Old house smell, not pleasant, then the elevator - you wait it forever, and if you need to go downstairs and someone above too, the elevator will go up first and then will take you down (we've stayed at the 2-md floor and needed to go up to 13 before go down:(. Not what I book for
Just don't do it..... Rooms were ok. Ceiling in one room was falling down in patches. The beds were covered in a sheet that was dirty and stained as all get out. There is no parking even if handy caped. We were instructed to park on the side of the building by one manager and then next day got a letter on our car for a "warning" that we could be ticketed because the car was on city property and that we were in front of a fire hydrant. Liked the ocean view. Called five times to have clean sheets brought to the room for the fold-out sofa. The sheets that were on the bed were dirty. Trash was picked up the first day, but that was the only time it was picked up. Dirty linens were not pickup at all. Called for clean towels but none were brought to the room. Very disappointing experience. Will not make reservations here again.
Horible The parking is horrible on back unsafe road no security only allowed one parking pass, room was nasty had roaches and bugs everywhere, contacted hotel about my concerns nothing was done. The pools are nasty not clean at all.
Very disappointing Room dirty, didn't even change sheets, stove didn't work! Told us we will order part!! Had to walk a distance to get to building with lobby! Rude staff. Tried to place me in room below what I paid for! Horrible housekeeping!
