The only good thing was the beach. At check in besides holding the normal deposit and hotel chages. They had a pending charge of 337.60 on my debit card. Did not know till i checked my bank acct.put my bank acc. in the red. Had no money for the rest of our vacation. Had nothing to do with me It was a friday evening Claimed they couldn't reverse the charges because the bank was closed till monday.
Property was clean; management was unorganized charged me double for room gave back part of it then refused to return the taxes so I paid double for taxes. Will not use Expedia or rent from Atlantica Resort properties again! Over all,a very bad experience.
Condo was disgusting. Throw up on the sofa bed!!! Needless to say this was by far the worst condo/hotel experience I have had. It started with having to wait an extra hour to check in because housekeeping staff were behind and our room was not ready. If they had actually cleaned the room, that extra hour would have been no big deal. The table and floors were sticky. The hotel room smelled horrible. Had roaches dirty walls running toilet broke dryer puddle of water outside room door. Never will I saty at Atlantica Resort
We had a condo, i don't know if it's different from the rest of the resort but ours didn't look anything like the photos advertised on the site. It looked run down, there was a funny smell when we opened the door. The dressers looked beat up, the door and walls had chipped paint, the chairs on the balcony were blackend with mold and the bathroom had a dead cockroach in the light fixture. The entire building was filthy. The condo had not been vacuumed or swept. It was a non smoking room, balcony included, but there were burn marks and cigarette butts on the balcony which would blow off into the pool below. There was a slice of pizza in the stairwell of the building that remained there for the duration of our stay. There was no enforcement of pool times so people partied loudly outside at the pool well into the early morning hours.
I would not recommend this place to anyone. The rooms were extremely nasty, bed bugs in the master suite, no lids on the toilet.
