needs updating Outside of building and grounds were fine. Inside is tired and worn - needs cleaning, paint, updating. Killed 3 roaches in my room (one in my bed)
Worst experience by far The room was ok... was supposed to have queen beds... NOT... me and my husband struggled to sleep in same bed. When I asked the front desk about changing rooms, I said I was was willing to pay for an upgrade. I was forgotten about not once.. but twice. I spoke to w different ppl. The room was on the first floor right by the entry door. All day and night was constant noise.. we slept on the pull down bed that was on the kitchen area... theta was the most restful night we had. Don't Stay Guy working front desk very rude, rooms and pools are shabby. Roaches in the room, no coffee for guests in lobby, only allow 1 pack in room during entire stay. Employees too busy playing on their phones to assist guests. Worse place I have stayed since I began using Hotels.com several years ago. Do not recommend in fact advise guests to avoid. Benefit was it was close to the boardwalk. Room was very small, not like it appeared in the pictures. We were placed in the building next to main building and room keys quit working (no, they weren’t near our phone) so had to go back to other building to get new keys.
The property holds $100 until you leave and there is no information alerting you of that before you book. Also I needed a blanket for the murphy bed and was told around 6PM that I would have one to pick up at the office when I got back in. Well I had to go to office to get one at 10PM. They still did not have one available and I had to mention getting one from another room for them to finally get one to me. Couldn’t check in till 4 pm checking in staff was cussing then laughing about it, the hallways to enter the room smelled like a bob marley store which gave me an instant headache. When we got to our room it said two queen size beds they were full. Roches everywhere! It was tile floor but it was grimy, couldn’t take off my shoes. Second day my room key would not work so I had to walk to the other building the front desk she said I can’t fix this unless I have your id.. all I had on was my bathing suit and towel. It needed a lot of cleaning and they don’t keep the room u ask for theybover book the 4th of July week.
