Liked that the property was right on the beach. Also liked proximity to boardwalk and other attractions. Disliked that we had no idea that there was a separate building then the main on that we stayed in. Also no one emptied our trash, we had no extra towels and no bedding for the hide a bed and the hide a bed was broken, the fridge wasn't cold at all. When we called the front desk to get help with hooking up to wifi they were very short with us and said figure it out yourself.
one other the bedrooms smelled like pee, and the whole condo smelled lime smoke (asked for non smoking) had to walk across an empty parking lot to take my daughter to the children's pool. not the room I had asked for. asked to speak to a manager. never was I contacted by one. didn't have sheets or pillows for the sleeper sofa.
Outdated and under maintained. Missing wall paper. Poor paint job. Toilet paper holders detached from the wall. Dingy and unclean. Light (floor and desk) not plugged in, no clocks. Old furniture and decor. Staff tried to accommodate and keep up but clearly management and the owners don't care enough about the property to put the money it to keep it up. Had to ask for toilet paper at the front desk.
NOT HAPPY I don't know where to start. First of all the carpet was torn up in the room and the balcony carpet was almost gone. We NEVER had room service and we were there 3 days. We had to call front desk for toilet paper and were told the cleaning people would be by later and they would give us toilet paper. they never came. We saw a maintenance man on elevator and asked him for toilet paper and he called and got cleaning people to bring us 2 rolls. but never cleaned our room...made our beds...NOTHING. Super dirty , & smelly room. Building 1 - 10th floor Worst than a 3rd world motel/condo :-(. We are all the way from the west coast, a family road trip since last Sunday. This is our 8th hotel, one of the priciest (just the location, I guess). We checked in at 10:30pm. The room - as we opened the door, almost made me throw up. Rude and roaches Horribly rude staff. We had cockroaches throughout the entire stay. When we notified the front desk they were horribly rude and hung up on us. Wifi never worked, we were told there's nothing they could do about it. We couldn't get any extra towels. They brought four new towels and washcloths everyday at different times for our 6 person party (room slept 8). We will sleep in our vehicle before returning to this outdated and way over priced hotel that has parking a block away.
Best thing was the location on the Hotel. It has great potential, staff was awesome but room was dirty and the elevator right outside our door was broke 4 / 5 days we were there. Manager was not responsive at all.
A little disappointed for the price Our stay was "ok". For the price we paid for the room and the pictures shown online, I did expect something better. Our room had one bedroom with 2 queen beds, a separate sitting area with pullout sofabed and kitchen area as stated online.
