Kathy (and later Angelique) are both lovely....helped us out for our addition and things went swimmingly! Second time using Avalon...the selection just cannot be beat and the help here in particular in Ocean, is top notch.

This store has a large selection of tile, wood, carpet, area rugs, even vanities and window treatments. Each area has its own department and they are organized nicely, easy to see the merchandise. Really Avalon, 20% restocking fee to return unused in-stock grout a week later? It's not like you special ordered this, you just pulled it off the shelf and handed it to me. Sorry to say, but better to buy from Lowes or Home Depot for something like this, otherwise good selection of tile, etc.

These people are bad news. Don't go there. The salesgirl ordered the wrong tile which took weeks to get. ( and she wasn't even nice to begin with)....My contractor put it up not knowing it was the wrong tile which I had to pay for their work that day of putting it up and taking it down!
