My wife was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s Disease four years ago and has been participating in Balfour Cherrywood’s day program for the past year. We have been pleased with the quality of the services provided from the beginning, and our level of comfort has increased in recent months. My grandma stays here and she absolutely loves it. The care is great and she’s always busy when we visit her. We went for thanksgiving and the food was awesome!!!
Unfortunately with the new management in place, this not a safe place for for seniors with memory care. In the short time the new director Drew Percival has been there, there have been uncountable incidents where the residents have been abused, and have been found out wandering the streets. Find a community where you can trust the management to care, because this certainly is not it.
My mom has been at Balfour for 6 months. In the time she’s been there she’s been more engaged, has more sass and seems genuinely happy. The facility is well kept, I get regular updates about my mom and residents appear clean, loved and valued. I feel heard and respected as well. Overall, my mom is healthy, happy and safe at Balfour.
My father required a greater level of care and transferred from Independent Living to Cherrywood Village. He was understandably confused, scared and very anxious. The entire Cherrywood team ensured that he is well cared for and made this transition more comfortable than it would have been without quality service delivery.
