Our family enjoys holiday dinners at the Black Bear. I would like to know if reservations are ever made.

Thank you for the comments, we do not accept reservations generally. We do have call ahead when we are on a wait, that can save you a little time waiting in the diner. For holidays like Thanksgiving and Christmas, we do not accept call ahead either. Thank you for asking sorry I couldn't help more.
Since moving to AZ 8 years ago, Black Bear Diner has been one of our favorite restaurants. Yesterday we visited the Glendale location for lunch and I had the Gobbler turkey sandwich and it was excellent. I enjoyed it so much that we went back again today and ordered the same. However, the experience today was disappointing The bread was stale, there was approximately one third the amount of turkey in it that I had in the sandwich yesterday, and there was no avocado.
