It was our first time here. Took 15 mins for someone just to take our order. Sat for another 30 mins for them to tell us they were out of mashed potatoes. Very slow service. We had somewhere else to be so had to take our food to go. Very disappointed.

Slow service would have been an improvement. Lee ou waitress provided no service. She took our coffee order and brought it right away. After awhile she came back and took food order. It took awhile but no big deal on a Sunday morning. Our food came which was brought by someone else and I requested more coffee as our cups were empty for awhile and more gravy for the biscuits and gravey. our server was great, my burger was raw, and it took way too long for my to go order (think they had to go run after the cow)

waitress dropped half our onion rings but still charged us full price burger was wrong that I ordered so I sent it back and I never got it back. waitress said manager would come talk to us even though we didnt ask for him. he never showed. charged full price for onion rings and I had burger taken off receipt. disappointed and wont be back and will tell everyone not to go here. bad bad bad

As always, the service was fine but Black Bear was way off the mark with food today...and this was my birthday meal with my family so I left feeling just blah. 🙁 My husband asked for crisp hash browns; they came to the table lukewarm and practically burnt. His biscuits and gravy we barely warm with hardly any gravy. My elder daughter's hash browns were also a raggedy hard mess and most of her food was lukewarm. I'm going to be calling the news about the horrible horrible experience you are providing. The service. The managers The horribly treated staff. The food is not one bit the black bears name. it's a cheap horrible version of Denny's. i pray you shut down ,this town is full of disappointing places to eat and experience we don't need another one

food was really good but service was awful. waited and waited for even drinks. then she never came back to refill anything. total of 2.5 hours there

the chicken dinner was way to expensive. and the chicken was the smallest pieces I've ever seen. worse than the pieces you get in a banquet tv dinner not worth $14. Never again
