First visit was for breakfast. I ordered my eggs scrambled, very well done - very dry, bacon, and French toast. The eggs were gooey, the bacon so hard I could hardly chew it, and the French toast had to be cut with a knife. Second visit was for dinner. My husband and I both ordered chicken Parmesan, pasta and seasoned vegetables for the sides. The chicken was fried too hard, the pasta was cold, but at least the broccoli was good. It took forever to get our food and unfortunately, the fish was a little cold. The 2nd plate was hot though. Food tastes really good. We'll give you another try on a different night. All you can eat fish fry may be too much for the new crew. Menu looks good. Prices seem comparable. Disappointed you dont offer Senior Discounts.

I got food poisoning after eating here. Nothing from the manager except a chain letter. Not sure they even read my email.
Poor service, overall not worth it
First time going to a Black Bear Diner. This was probably a perfect storm of poor performance, but I doubt we go back to test the water a second time. We started with one server and then were switched. The second server barely checked on the table and left our cups empty over 50% of the time we were seated. The cornbread and salads came out. Server only checked on us to take our order and give us out check. It would have been nice if she would have checked in a couple of more times, gotten refills, cleared salad plates, and made sure everything was fine. The food was mediocre. Overall, not impressed.
I was very disappointed with my visit to Black Bear Diner. The service was terrible could not get a spoon for coffee the whole time I was there and the waitress never came back to the table after the food was brought out. No coffee refills until we were ready to leave and she just started to pick our plates up and we were not even done eating. I will never go back and that was my first time ever eating there. the prices are pretty high for what you are receiving and the service was terrible
We decided to stop in and try this place with the kids before we headed down to see the lights. WORST IDEA EVER! We walked in and got sat right away, which was the only positive about the whole thing. Had to send my daughter's baked potato back three times to get it right. my son's chicken came out burned and chrispy. my french fries came out luke warm. I understand this was just the second night of being open but come on Black Bear get it together
