For multi-location businesses that rely on review-monitoring platforms, it&#8217;s a meaningful operational change. The data pipeline runs through Google&#8217;s official API, which is unaffected.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If some or all of your locations rely on scraping as a fallback, you may already be seeing:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Lower-than-expected review counts in your dashboard<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Review monitoring \u2014 new reviews won&#8217;t appear in your dashboard<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Competitor AI \u2014 review data for competitor locations also relies on the same access<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Reputation scores \u2014 local business ranking scores won&#8217;t update without fresh review data<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>The larger your location footprint, the bigger the exposure.
