Waited over two hours to have a oil change done. After an hour of waiting had to revisit csr and advise that my vehicle was still just sitting outside. This service departments employees are all very pleasant but I think overall the department is way to overwhelmed to accommodate its customers properly any longer.
I went to Hassel BMW because it was closer than Rallye to my home. They were rude, liars and awful to deal with. You felt bad when you left there. I decided to go back to Rallye, where I had purchased my last vechicle, and was treated like a queen. They couldn't have been more accomodating. William Wagner went out of his way to keep me in the loop over every detail. I would NEVER go anywhere else to purchase a car! Sincerely, Robin Kaufman
I took my car in for a battery charge and a battery replacement was recommended. After waiting approximately 3 hours, I inquire as to the status of my car and was informed that they were working on it. After waiting another 2 hours I again inquired as to why it was taking this long to replace a battery. I was informed that the 1st battery placed was not powerful enough and a second battery had to be installed. I was not called during the assessment of the vehicle process. The repairs were made and I was called at the end. I needed to inquire about the cost- it was not volunteerd. I have had servicing done at this site for 3 years and there has always been more communication. This time, it was as though noone cared. If that's the case, I will use the dealer closer to my home.
I brought in the car because the strip molding on driver side inside the car came off its retainers, low tire pressure light came on and A/C was not very cooling and regular oil maintenance. Also my key was to be re-programmed so that car would automatically lock when speeds up after the start. All these things were fixed except the key was not reprogrammed. apparently he forgot. This was my worst service experience EVER!! This was also my first service experience at Rallye BMW and I was completely overwhelmed at the lack of customer service. The car was going in for a simple oil change after having the car 4 months and not having any major issues. I decided to wait for the car since it was only an oil change. Once checking in at the service bay I was not told to speak with an advisor - just to go and wait in the waiting area and they would call my cellphone when the work was done. I had test driven an X3 at Rallye. They only had the 2.8 to test not the 3.5 I had requested. I got past that and made an appointment to get a trade in value on my existing car and make my purchase. The money they were willing to give me was ridiculous. I told them they had made a mistake, and they checked it again. They offered me $500 more. I walked out. I decided to purchase a BMW because of the reputation that they had with the service and maintenance for their cars. Unfortunately when I talk to my other friends with BMWs that get their services from other dealers, their experience is definitely much better than mine. Rallye did give me a good price on my car originally, but are rather cheap on the service side of things. I brought in our 2006 BMW 530xi (which we purchased CPO in 2007 out of state) to the sevice center at Rallye in November 2010 because I kept having to add oil to the engine. They replaced the cylinder head gasket which seemed to have alleviated the problem with the oil leakage. Which I was told was a lengthy job and involved going into the engine.
