There is no way that I would ever recommend Rallye to anyone after the fiasco I had when bringing my car in for service. All I've been hearing about on the radio is their $100,000 giveaway on z100. Perhaps they should invest that money more wisely, and improve their customer service and rapport. Check out Better Business Bureau's rating of Rallye.
COMPLETELY UNACCEPTABLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. I spent $100k on a new 7 Series, which required service to repair the power shades. The Service department (esp. Peter) made me feel like I was inconveniencing Rallye to arrange an appointment to have the shades repaired. After being a Rallye customer for a couple of years, I finally left. Not only were they dishonest with their sales, but their service department is horrific. I have 2 BMW's (E60 M5 and E70 X5 4.8). Both cars are now from Habberstad. On my previous models, I always did custom orders. They ended up ordering additional options for my vehicles and leaving me with no choice but to pay the increased amount on my monthly lease, if I wanted the car. Left a deposit for a CPO vehicle, Manager told salesperson not to sell it to us for that price because the repairs they rpomised would cost more $$. Even though we had already agreed to a price with the repairs and signed paperwork. Typical bait and switch, check out Better Business Bureau.
We were shopping for a 5 series and saw several cars online listed as being part of the dealership inventory with good prices. I went to the Dealership with my Fiance to purchase the car. The front desk receptionist was friendly and told me someone would be down soon. Well, 10 minutes later we were still waiting around walking the showroom floor and not Salesman came to assist us. I have recently dealt with Robert Wachsman to purchase a BMW 5 series car. I asked him for a discount of 1000 on the price. His face suddenly got red and he explained that all discounts over 500 would need to go through the manager. So I asked him ask his manager, but he refuses explaining that his wife told him not to bother. His treated people who asked for bargains as people who were poor and did not deserve his time.
I made an appointment for a test drive just a few days before I showed up at the dealer on time, and the receptionist couldn't find my name. She said she would get someone to help me. There were at least 5 sales guys standing next to her quickly walked away from her. I felt that their attitudes were like "don't bother me." I bought certified 328IS car from them, after few months clutch went bad, they replace it ($2400) and it was still broken, another week without a car, finally I’m picking up the car just to find out that I have scratches on the roof, two dents in the front right quarter panel and missing rear bumper small plastic cover. Service at Rallye is a cattle call. You are treated like a number, the advisors are arrogant, the waiting area is dirty, cramped and loud, and you consider yourself lucky if your issue gets resolved correctly and in a timely manner. I have no doubt that most of the problems are due to them being incredibly overworked, but that is not an excuse.
