I've used Burton's Flooring Center for both hardwood and carpet purchase and installation at different times. This review is for the most recent service of carpet installation. I chose a particularly expensive and difficult to install carpet. Not only did they not charge me extra for the additional labor required, they honored the original per square foot price listed when I first started looking rather than the higher price on contract signing. Sold us flooring touting that it was water proof because it was the main thing my mom was looking for in the floor. Then after a year it starts to separate so we have them come out to fix it. Then they tell us all of sudden our sub floor is bad? Why not mention this a year ago when it was installed? If it’s water proof how could that be the reason for the floor just separating on its own?
