Did a walk through tour, very beautiful homes. The buildings are very secure as they all have key fobs for the doors and cameras throughout the property. The property manager was very professional and informative. While this will be our first time living on our own we felt very welcomed and right at home. Highly recommended
I am loving my experience so far living here at Canary Lofts. I love that the apartment was clean when I moved in. I also like that all the appliances are new and easy to use. If you need peace and quiet to live/study this is a perfect place for you. Its very quiet and you only hear some noise sometimes from dogs but not very often. I also would say make sure you download the apps to pay the rent, and to ask for any help if you have any issues that you need any maintenance on your apartment. I was excited to move in I paid the 50 dollar application fee then the 500$ security deposit as I was asked for it before being approved. The move in date did get moved a few times. Once I got the lease I decided canary lofts was not the right place for me. As this was months ahead of move in time i assumed I would be able to get my 500$ security deposit back. Turns out although I never rented a unit never damaged anything and they had a proper amount of time to find a new tenant canary won't give 500$ deposit back. I wouldn... read more
I have had a great time so far living in Canary Lofts! I had a short-turn around when applying to moving in & with that the staff was super organized and helpful getting me moved in. Very friendly & welcoming. The building is beautiful & clean.
I had to suddenly find a place to live after getting accepted off of the waitlist for medical school in Des Moines (I'm from the South). I wanted a safe, affordable, and quiet apartment. I called many other apartment complexes, but the property managers either weren't helpful, called me weeks later (after I signed at Canary already), or never called me back at all.
