Account Executive, SMB Sales

Job Summary
BirdEye, recently awarded “Hottest Company” by Plug and Play Tech Center, is looking for rockstar Account Executives. We are hiring multiple Account Executives to join our expanding small / medium size business segment. This is an exciting opportunity for an entrepreneurial minded sales executive looking to get in at the ground floor of one of the silicon valley’s hottest startups. If you possess the right energy, competitive spirit, personal drive and track record of success in Sales, this is a Denver, CO or Dallas, TX based opportunity that you cannot afford to miss.

The market opportunity for Reputation Management and Customer Experience software is $10B+ in the US and 2-3x that number globally. To put this opportunity in perspective – there is not a single business in the US (or globally) that could not use our software. We can literally sell to every business that exists. You cannot say that about other types of point or niche solutions. With over 10,000 customers in just 2.5 years, the proof our product provides immense value is clearly apparent – and we are just getting started.

  • Drive sales growth by finding and closing business in our Small Business Segment
  • Demonstrating our product 10-15 times per week to prospective clients
  • Reporting on sales activity and metrics in our CRM
  • Managing a fast sales cycle in a team selling environment
  • Work closely with Product and Customer care teams
  • Building sales pipeline by leveraging existing inbound leads and creating your own pipeline through outbound prospecting efforts

  • An extroverted, optimistic problem solver with high energy; proactive in calling potential clients and convincing them to take a look at BirdEye
  • Initiates action and is assertive
  • Resourceful and consistent
  • Ability to use Google to research leads and prospects to build pipeline
  • Experience leveraging social channels to drive pipeline
  • Social Selling experience preferred (if not, we will teach you)
  • Knowledge of social media – comfortable with Google, Facebook, Twitter, Yelp
  • Excellent verbal and written communication
  • Report track and manage sales activity in the CRM
  • Bachelor’s degree is required
