Sr. Account Executive, Mid-Market Sales

Job Summary

BirdEye, recently awarded “Hottest Company” by Plug and Play Tech Center, is looking for rockstar Account Executives.  We are hiring multiple Account Executives to join our expanding mid-market business segment. The market opportunity for Reputation Management and Customer Experience software is $10B+ in the US and 2-3x that number globally.  To put this opportunity in perspective – every single business in the US (or globally) can use our software, so as long as a business exists, we can sell to it. This is unlike other point or niche solutions.  With over 10,000 customers in just 2.5 years, proof our product’s immense value is clearly apparent – and we’re just getting started.

Responsibilities

  • Drive sales growth by finding and closing business in our mid-market segment (businesses with more than 50 locations nationally)
  • Close complex deals involving multiple CxO decision-makers and stakeholders
  • Work with your team to build custom presentations/demonstrations of our product for prospective clients
  • Run effective Proof of Concept campaigns to persuasively demonstrate BirdEye’s value
  • Report on sales activity and metrics in our CRM
  • Manage sales cycle in a team-oriented selling environment
  • Work closely with Product and Customer Care teams
  • Manage pipeline and sales activity, conduct prospect research and be able to accurately forecast
  • Work hard, play hard.  We need to have fun as we succeed.

 

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of quota-carrying software or technology sales as an individual contributor
  • Experience selling to CMO, CXO, digital marketers or heads of social media
  • Demonstrated steep trajectory of success in previous sales roles
  • Previous success prospecting, engaging and acquiring new business with mid-market companies
  • Outbound prospecting experience a must
  • Social Selling experience preferred
  • Skills conducting presentations, online demonstrations and face-to-face meetings
  • Extroverted, optimistic problem-solving abilities and a vibrant, energetic attitude
  • Ability to take assertive initiative while maintaining pleasant demeanor
  • Resourceful and consistent work ethic
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Technically savvy; able to learn and effectively operate BirdEye’s CRM
  • Bachelor’s degree required; continued training and education preferred
