Great experience our grandson is allergic to latex our sales person went out of her way to assure us the flooring had very little latex in it. The installation was great the installer was polite and profressional. We couldn't have asked for a better experience. I would highly recomend Carpet One
We contracted with Carpet One in Fort Wayne to replace carpeting in our living room and dining area. Eric, our installer, and his assistant did a fantastic job for us. They are true professionals who represent Carpet One in the highest manner. We highly recommend them and will use them in the future.
Ordered 24 boxes of Coretec vinyl plank. Delivery was just a few days and items were well packaged. One box was slightly damaged with a few damaged planks. Contacted Riverwoods with explanation and photos. Laura responded with a nice email and refunded my credit card for $20 when the damaged goods were only $16. Highly recommended for customer care and fast delivery. PS These vinyl planks are very beautiful.
Carpet one choose to only send one person for a two person job. Sorry just doesn't cut it. The paint was scratched on my bedroom walls. The floor was not swept I spent over an hour sweeping and cleaning up pieces.. Carpet one choose to cut corners and save on labor by only sending one person to install my carpet. I am very frustrated and disappointed. This is the 3rd time I've purchased carpet from carpet one and it will be the last. I was told someone had to be at my home *****am for installation. I was able to touch up the paint on the wall scratches in both bedrooms unfortunately it does not match. I will have to repaint both bedrooms completely. Still very disappointed and even more disappointed in carpetone response. I have asked for a refund of $500

The customer was not told that the installer would be at the house between 8;30 and 9 am. This is a complete fabrication on her part. The installers call between 7 and 10 am and let the customers know what time they will be out. The customer has also stated in emails to the salesperson that she would be fine in a few days and that the person who was at her house waiting for the installer to complete the work would not have wanted to wait any longer for the installer to clean up. I had a terrible experience with this company. There were long delays in shipping with no communication or explanation. I had to repeatedly contact the company, and found their customer service to be rude and dismissive. Most frustratingly, the company listed incorrect dimensions for a piece on their website, meaning that when I finally received my order, I was unable to complete the job because of a materials shortfall; I had calculated and ordered correctly based on the information provided on their website, but that infor... read more

The material was delivered within 3 weeks of order back in February. When the trim pieces were sent, the manufacturer accidentally sent a sample instead of the trim pieces and the trim pieces were reordered and sent to the homeowner and he received them three days before the installation date. The trim pieces were ordered after the material was received. I hope that ********************* enjoys his flooring.
If you don't mind a decent job on carpet laying but don't mind the mess afterwards, then this might be the place for you. However, my 2 bedrooms and hallway outside the bedrooms where I had carpet laid looked like a cat had had a hayday with the carpet. I didn't know I'd have so much vacuuming to do. Carpet frayings, small chunks as well as some foam had to be vacuumed with my shop vac. Recently bought a luxury vinyl plank flooring from Carpet One. The flooring was gorgeous but the installation was an extremely poor job. All of the edges butting up against a wall were ragged. It looked as though someone had chewed through the wood rather than cut it. The cost of the installation was the same amount as the actual flooring, $5 a square foot ($2 floor install plus $3 trim replacement) By the way, according to Carpet One trim replacement is removal and re-installation, not new trim. Carpet One offered flooring and install for 6000.00 then raised it to about 10,000 stating it was for higher labor costs. Then said I could reduce the price to a bit under 8000,00 by eliminating the cord around that sales person said was not needed. Entered into contract. About 3-4 weeks later, I met with installer that said I had to have cord around for the floor to look right. The customer came in and put down a deposit for the vinyl plank and we sent a person out to measure the job like we do with all jobs and check the floor conditions and the size given to us by the customer. We can not see under the previous flooring so there are times when there are more costs that need to be added on to the job to do it right.
