This restaurant just opened in Carytown and the food and service are amazing! Everyone is so attentive and lovely but the food and drinks are the stars of the show! There is a more modern twist to the classic Indian food. We had a great date night and thanks to everyone there. Can’t wait to go back! **Oh and bonus there is a small parking lot on the side of the building so we didn’t have to parallel park on Cary St when the traffic is crazy in the evenings.
They did a great job renovating the space. The atmosphere is so calming and welcoming! The food was excellent. The food is on the nicer dinning experience side and is definitely modern but doesn't lack in traditional taste. The chai tasted like it was straight out of my mother in law's kitchen, which is one of the highest compliments I could ever give!
What a great dining experience I had at our newest Carytown South neighborhood restaurant: Carytown Indian Cuisine. It is located in the former Citizen Burger Bar space. The fabulous cuisine is “modern Indian” and is expertly prepared and features both vegetarian and non-vegetarian items. Stumbled in here for lunch today and had an amazing experience! First, the place is gorgeous inside. Then the cocktails were fabulous. And the food blew us away! The samosa appetizer was as beautiful as it was tasty, and the butter naan was addicting. My chicken korma was good, but the chicken tikka masala was so yummy I didn’t even manage to get a pic!
