I lived in the Clairmont apartments (Yorktown) for 3 years (2017-2020). I really enjoyed living here. The apartments are clean and have fairly new appliances and finishes. The complex is quiet and mainly consists of families, but on occasion there is one loud neighbor or group of kids playing. The maintenance staff is amazing at Clairmont - they will come and fix anything you need and they are usually very attentive to problems you have. The front office staff is great, but the corporate side can be confusing. I had some issues with billing on the online portal being confusing and incorrect, but it all did get worked out with the help of the front office staff. They are always around to ask questions and greet you with a smile when you. go to the 24/7 gym or get a package at the front desk. I would recommend these apartments for someone who is looking for a safe and convenient place to live near Yorktown, Gloucester Point, or Newport News.
