Help on a Saturday!
I was awakened at 4:30am this past Saturday with a horrific toothache. I was in tears. I have a regular dentist, so I called their "emergency" number and was rolled over to voice mail three times. Never talked with the dentist on call. OK, what to do? It's Saturday morning, I'm in MAJOR pain and can't get a hold of my dentist. Surfin' the net, Comfort Dental pops up. Radio commercial goes off in my brain, "We'll be there when you need us." OK. Decided to give it a try.
Am I ever glad I did! The Boulder Comfort Dental is awesome! I arrived early Saturday morning, The staff is totally awesome and squared away. They knew I was coming in, they had me sign in, and Bam, I was whisked back to a chair, met the most amazing assistant who treated me with kid gloves and seconds later in came Mark Cannon, D.M.D.. We briefly met, and he got right down to business. He did a preliminary check around, ordered some X-Rays which were quickly taken, then we had an immediate game plan discussion. I had a horribly infected tooth and needed an immediate Root Canal. (I was not happy to hear this, but I knew he was right on because my so called regular dentist had warned me, if a filling wasn't repaired soon, the tooth could become infected, and a Root Canal would be in order. So, my fault, never got around to scheduling a filling.) Anyway, I agreed and off we went. They got me OUT OF PAIN quickly!! Dr. Cannon went right to work and did his magic. I was so grateful because I technically did not have an appointment. I had just walked in after a brief phone call Saturday morning. The amazing dental assistant did an outstanding job of assisting Dr. Cannon, and bless her heart, she only left my side to run and grab needed tools. She stayed right with me the whole time. I was shaking I was so nervous. Between the two of them they did the Root Canal, incredibly PAIN FREE! Afterwards, they inquired if I had the time, they could just finish the whole procedure, which at first they thought would need another appointment. But everything had gone so smoothly, that putting in another sealant with a filling to completely finish the job was quite doable. So, in a nutshell, the entire procedure was completed in ONE visit. Sure, I had some down time here and there, Dr. Cannon had other patients (with appointments). I was just grateful they agreed to squeeze me in. Kudos to Comfort Dental, their emergency dental treatment is in a league above and beyond! Thank You!
