The front desk clerk was rude and made a very uncomfortable check in experience. The rooms are fine and the hotel is nice. It is just unfortunate to be greeted by a rude receptionist.
In the five days I was there, I never saw anyone cleaning any of the common areas, especially the lobby and front desk. The hotel was horribly understaffed. There was no restaurant or food service; just a Starbucks opened for morning hours only. The first two nights, we returned in the evening to find our room had not been cleaned. They sold my room. I called ahead to say I’d be a late arrival and when I got there at 11:00pm as expected, they had sold my room. Their only response was that they would refund my room, which of course they needed yo do, but an “oh well” as what to do for the night. They said they could bring a cot into the tiny room with my 80 year old parents. Overall a terrible experience.
