It’s a good location for visiting BC (really the only game in town). It’s clean, the staff are friendly. I’ve staying here for several years and it’s starting to look worn down. It needs a little updating (carpeting in the hallways, heating systems in the rooms, showers), but, wouldn’t stop me from staying there.
Property is in convenient location. Spacious room with nice view.
Alex and Monique were exceptional when checking in. Hotel is clean and quiet in centrally located area.
Clean outside, several places to sit and smoke a cigarette. Clean inside with a nice touch of comfortable furniture and artwork. Front desk staff helpful and courteous. Your Manager Alicia Russo run's an efficient operation. Set back and didn't have to hear the nasty noises associated with a big city; sirens jets overhead intoxicated people yelling homeless people wandering around loud vehicles and crashes Keep up the fine work ! The signage within the property is abysmal, consisting of small black letters on a gray/black background. It was difficult to read the signs indicating the location of the elevator and the room numbers sign with directional arrows. Newsflash, folks -- not all of your customers have 20/20 vision.
The mattresses were excellent. The bath towels were horrible. Not plush at all for a brand name hotel. The Bistro could use a cook at night and not one of the servers running out back. Meatballs were served cold. A chef would know how to monitor the internal temperature even if you are using frozen meatballs. Morning chef/cook does not know how to cook eggs over hard with the yolk broken. Desk service was very good. No TV guide in the room on what channels are available.
