The service and amenities were very disappointing. My family within my party reservation were locked out of their room and were moved to another room without any access to their actual room until the following morning. 3 out the 4 rooms had issues.
Not the greatest for the price, I was very disappointed. Staff wasn’t that helpful. No mini bar.
I like the historical tone and the vibe of the hotel. The front desk people are nice. Housekeeping is upon request, which I understand, but when I requested for cleaning during my stay, they did a horrible job cleaning the room. The trash was not dumped and floor was not even cleared. They didn’t clean the bathroom either and only added some new towels. Seems that all they did is adding new towels and making up the bad. I m definitely not happy with the stay.
Beds are too small, pillows are horrendous, bathrooms downstairs are disgusting (pee on the floor!). Location is good, that's about it.
I am a Marriott Bonvoy member and Le Meridien is part of their hotels. I have stayed at a few other Le Meridien's around the US and have always had a pleasant stay so booked this one in Philadelphia. The hotel was really dirty. My room said it was cleaned but looked like it hadn't been. There was a used towel in the bathroom when I arrived. Our room was dirty and our tv did not work, we called front desk they said they would send someone and no one ever came..
Liked the location of the property and the layout of the property. Parking garage was expensive but close to the hotel. Disliked - stains on the wall in front of the commode, the tub did not drain properly - taking a shower and water was not draining from the tub - took at least 5 minutes after the shower was done for the water to drain. The air conditioning unit was noisy and woke up with a headache. I expected more for this hotel - given the amount of money I paid for the room.
