TO LIVE AND FRY IN L.A. In 2017, four childhood friends came up with a simple concept — take Nashville Hot Chicken and make it better than anyone else in America. With only a couple thousand dollars to their name, they boot-strapped a pop-up concept in a parking lot in East Hollywood serving a simple menu of tenders, sliders, fries, and kale slaw — they created a viral cult following with lines consistently over an hour long.

Armando was a very nice cashier! Very welcoming. The place was also very clean and tidy.

Nothing really beats Dave's when they were in a parking lot on Hollywood Blvd. I am glad to see them come up with multiple brick and mortars but something about a new place just doesn't stick with me. Dave's has some really good chicken strips and there are a lot of new places that are contenting. All have their own little special flava. Tried this when I was visiting LA. Great food - delicious and fresh. The girl at the counter Ariana was super friendly and quick in getting our order correctly and quickly- Will definitely visit again whenever I am in the area '
i know i'm probably the wrong person to be reviewing dave's, since i'm not a big fan of hot chicken lol. but my fiancé is a huge fan! and i personally want to give a shout-out to the fries and the mac & cheese. my fiancé shares his fries with me and they're always seasoned SO well. and i've tried the mac & cheese before and it's super tasty!! hopefully this review is helpful to the tiny percentage of people who come here looking for something that's not chicken :')

Had never been to this place before, even though I know it's a chain. I stopped on by while I was waiting for some thing in the area. The lady at the cash register, Ariana, was super helpful!! She gave it to me straight! I appreciate the explanation she gave me about the products as well, as opposed to just trying to upsell me the most expensive item. Highly recommend.

Dave's Hot Chicken in my opinion after trying it a few times isn't super flavorful or the best chicken I have had. was under the impression mild/medium would be hot but it was not and lacked in flavor.
