Our waiter was a friendly, kind man from Naples. The service was excellent and the food, as always, was excellent! We had the fried artichokes, calzone, and fungho pizza -- all so delicious!
great pizzas and pastas - salad was just ok meatballs were tender and delicious we had a lunch on sunday at 1 - wasnt too crowded. The tables are very close to each other - on a busy night I could see you being shoulder to shoulder and it would be very loud.
I ate at Doppio Zero last week and really enjoyed the whole experience. So, I returned with a friend this week. I expected a larger portion of the octopus plate based on the photo on the website. Also, what upset me about the "ambience" was that I was sitting directly facing a screen reporting on the presidential primaries in New Hampshire. At an outing like this I was upset to have to see photos, read the name and catch glimpses of someone that evokes such dismaying emotions.
