Dr. Palmer did his internship, residency and chief residency at Presbyterian St. Luke’s Hospital in Chicago, Illinois (now Rush University Medical Center), receiving the resident of the year award all three years. Thereafter, he practiced private internal medicine for twenty-one years at Rush before transitioning to personalized medical care in 2010. Dr. Palmer is an exceptional physician, well-versed in all medical matters and able to effectively explain his approach and recommended course of action. Dr. Palmer is sensitive to each patient's specific needs. This personal connection makes it possible to diagnose and eliminate the need for unnecessary testing procedures. He relieves any concerns one might have and offers common sense advice on having a healthy approach to life. Visits are not slotted into 15 minute increments. Time is spent patiently listening. Dr. Palmer is truly an exemplary role model for the medical profession.

i have been a patient of dr palmer's for many years. it has been a wonderful experience. what i really like is he believes an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure. if a problem manifests itself, he wants to get out ahead and deal with it in a proactive manner before it becomes much more serious. he is easy to talk to. explains any treatment he might recommend, the why and such. i would highly recommend him.

I've had Dr. Palmer as my physician for over 25 years and couldn't ask for a better Doctor, not only is he professional he is always thoughtful, a good listener and will always give great advice concerning any health issue. I would recommend him to anyone that needs a Doctor who will give them the time, care and dedication that Doctor Palmer has always given me.
