Dr. Hooper is excited to bring her passion and expertise to the care of bariatric and general surgery patients in the DFW area. She is board certified in General Surgery and Fellowship trained in Bariatric Surgery. She completed medical school at The University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center in Oklahoma City. She then went on to complete her General Surgery internship and residency in Chicago at Rush University Medical Center and John H Stroger Cook County Hospital (aka Cook County) from 2007-2012. She then went on to complete her Bariatric Surgery fellowship in 2012-2013 at Tufts Medical Center in Boston, Massachusetts. Dr. Hooper joined a multi-specialty practice group, Mercy Clinic
