Enterprise has pretty much always had quick service with dependable cars. However, there are two things that they need to do to improve their product. 1. clean the cars. I far too often get dirty cars. The last one looked like someone had opened a can of soda and it exploded all over the driver's door panel, and the fabric was terribly filthy from it - it didn't look like anyone even attempted to clean it. #2.the biggest issue to me is that you have to remember to take your confirmation with you, or they will really gouge yo... read more
beware if you rent in Chicago. Enterprise is not located on airport property. The location does not have a person to answer the phone. I had to call the national number to find out how to return the car. Enterprise should have a special return instruction sheet for the Chicago market. Also be careful if offered a toll pass. Enterprise will charge you just under $8 a day, used or not used. As usual they havegreat staff and good service. In the case of Chicago Ohare, they need to work on communications and procedures.
Not enough shuttle busses - waited for a long time and watched multiple Avis, Hertz, etc shuttles go by. Happens most times I rent from this location.In their zeal to help stranded travelers (due to the FAA control center fire), the personnel at this location gave away ALL of their cars to walk up rentals, not saving cars for those with reservations. This resulted in significant wait times for cars to be brought in from other locations. On top of other travel delays that day, this was most unwelcomed.I was scheduled to pick ... read more
