Erie Home people came out to appraise what needed to be done they were great and made alot of promise. One of the big promises was it being done in 3 days at most. The project was started August 28th it is now October 18th and there is multiple problems that they have had to come back and fix. They are the worst company I have ever worked with. ERIE Basement solutions, LIE after LIE. Still no warranty or other paperwork for my project even though it has been promised since July 5th. So far 5 different crews have been here because my basement was still leaking, My basement was already semi finished and only had one wall and corner that had some water slowing coming in after a rain. They did a great job on the roof, but left construction debris that I now have to pay to get removed. I asked four different people to remove the construction debris, and each one said that of course they would get it done, “right away”. Yet there it sits on my front lawn. They completed work weeks ago and have had plenty of time to take care of it. So be careful not to sign off and make the final payment until it is all cleaned up. Because once you give them the final payment, they are done with you.

Erie’s sales representatives came to our house with very little warning, stayed in our kitchen for 2 hours selling us on a roof, and tricked us into paying way too much money. Then they did not finish the job, and a section of our house is still unfinished after over half a year. Their customer service has been wholly uncooperative, and their project manager has not called me back in weeks. Do not trust these people.

I called for an estimate and they are the most aggressive and rude. The salesman told me he would tell me the cost until i had spoken to my insurance company! There is no reason why the can't share cost estimates freely!

Make sure to get multiple quotes prior to doing any business with this company. I was quoted 4 times the going rate for my roof on my house by Erie and felt that the salesperson was attempting to mislead me.

Installation crew was fast and thorough, even in 95 degree heat. Shingles were not of the quality I was expecting - looked like average asphalt shingles and not the fiberglass as described by the salesman. Price was very expensive when considering the quality of the shingles. Clean up was very impressive at the end of the job.

Jan 2023 shingle roof installed on 3BR ranch: $21,500. They wanted $53,000. For metal! Roof has cupping shingles, chimney leaks while raining. Person came out to cut the shingles (where cupping) laid them flat and used an adhesive to seal them! Caulked around chimney and left. Called them again to state chimney leaking, no one ever came back. Issue with venting never addressed. GET IT IN WRITING IN CONTRACT!!! I would NOT recommend this company - use local roofers!

I want to start with that a year ago I called and could not get someone to come out. Then I tried again this year and the sales guy Alan was nice and if not for him I would have called the whole thing off since the dispacher for sales rep said "that's okay go somewhere else" and hung up when yet again the salse.rep and I had already made arrangements to meet and they wanted to change it ....Alan stepped in and made the meeting happen.
