My husband and I are truly confused by the raving reviews regarding Sue Goodhart all over the internet. My house in Old Town Alexandria, VA, sold 2 days ago after a complete renovation! On the market only for a month! Along this journey, I have found the best contractor I have ever met and worked with, Jose Castano (571-426-1145), and the wonderful RE agent Sue Goodhart from The Goodhart Group (703-362-3221), who was very positive about my renovations, and patient, calm, with good suggestions for improvements, and encouragements. I used them to buy a home several months ago. I felt pressured to agree to things I wasn't comfortable with just because they wanted to make the sale. When I left a voicemail letting them know I didn't feel like a valued customer, they didn't bother to ask about my complaints or concerns. I think they just wanted to the sale to be done and on to the next. Beware first time home buyers.
I had been meaning to post a review for Sue Goodhart since the purchase of my home in early 2018. The Goodhart group did not represent me as the buyer, they represented the seller. The agent was difficult to get a hold of and did not follow through on contractually stipulated issues until the 11th hour. Sue didn't represent me but did represent the seller. After being insanely difficult and petty, I almost cancelled our contract. She removed the lockbox following our contract ratification and refused to ask the sellers for access to measure for appliances and planned renovations. She was trying to force me to close sooner and these were her tactics. I'd think twice about using her, and wouldnt reward this kind of manipulative behavior.
A true real estate expert. If you are looking for exceptional knowledge of the real estate market Sue Goodhart and the Goodhart Group are for you. I am thankful to have met Sue Goodhart. In the future, I will always contact her for my real estate needs.
The Goodhart Group is the way to go if you are looking to purchase a home in Alexandria or nearby. Unfortunately we put an offer in on a different home a few months prior to beginning our search with the Goodhart Group, and we basically navigated the process alone as first time Home buyers.
