Less of a "Hotel"... More of a "Flophouse" Although I often stay in "Extended Stay" hotels, I've never met one where daily room service (including, at a minimum, making the bed and taking out the trash) is an upcharge... it is at the Homestead Boston Marlborough. The bed was about as comfortable as a marble slab. The walls picked up unwanted sounds from both other rooms and the outside world. Homestead Boston Marlborough The price and the accommodations were fine. There were two issues: 1. The distance from my desired location was advertised as 23 miles. It turned out to be 33 miles! 2. We reserved a non-smoking room. It turned out to smell heavily of cigarettes (or perhaps something else equally bad).

Could use some cleaning and updating Rooms were pretty worn out. Ripped furniture, chipped and stained counters and disgusting carpets were there. No frills. There were no ironing boards (could have used it) and no toiletriess. Pretty cheap rate though and the staff was very friendly.

Long term stay hotel extended stay meets all needs, but general impression is seedy and barren. Strictly a consideration on price.

Homestead Marlboro Satellite TV did not work, hair dryer not in room, extra charge for internet.

Not very accomodating We were attending a wedding and went to the hotel to check in prior to the wedding. We arrived one hour before the wedding and were told the rooms were not ready and would not be ready for an hour - which is when the wedding began! We had 2 rooms reserved and asked if they could at least get 1 room ready so we could change and get ready for the wedding and were told there was absolutely nothing they could do. Homestead, Marlborough, MA Bathroom, esp. tub, dirty, mildew. Drinking glasses dirty, one still filled with water from previous occupant

3.17.2010 Stay Check-in was fine. We needed to stay close to Northboro for a training session. We rented a studio with kitchen. The kitchen had no utensils. Our wake up call for 700AM came at 800AM. The back security door would not lock at night.We won't be staying there again.
