Not what we paid for! First off we paid for a deluxe queen room as I had doctors appointments so my father came with us. So there was a sofa bed for Dad and a Double bed for my husband and I (not queen) who are big people. Hence the need for a queen. We stayed 9/10-9/12. No choice to change at that late date. Both nights there were no linens for the sofa bed all my 73 year old Dad had were sheets so we gave him a blanket from our bed same thing the next night. Labor day gone wrong Long wait on Customer service. They checked us in on a not fully functional room. The A/C was not working and we had to wait for the next day for it go get fixed.

The property was old and run down. Several items were broke in the room, including 3 light fixtures. Air conditioner was really noisy. The tub drain didn't. Had to go ask for a hair dryer. We were out of the room for over 12 hours the next day and returned to a room that had not been cleaned, picked up or towels replaced. The staff was disinterested and rude.

Staff AMAZING, booking agent...not so much the hotel was fine and very cooperative, considering I was not able to get past the lobby because of my booking agents mistake. i had only cash, booked my room through hotels.com in the cab only minutes away from the destination and they assured me the hotel accepted cash. THEY DID NOT, but the hotel waived the cancellation fee for me seeing that the fault was not mine but hotels.com's. BE WARNED I stayed here because it was close to my meeting in Westport. If you're used to a bright fresh clean hotel lobby with normal amenities, you will be sorely disappointed. The room halls looked like an unkempt boys home, dogs barking everywhere, the guests were loud, a dog fight occurred right outside my room window, police had to intervene, etc. This simply isn't a business travel hotel.
