I was saddened to learn this location closed. This was first location I stayed at, staff was great, Johnnie, Malika. I stayed here about 7 months, always felt safe, most of residents were friendly, they had plenty of parking. The cleaning ladies always did a great job with the rooms. I never once saw any roaches or anything else. I hope the staff found other employment quickly.

UPDATE: THIS HOTEL IS CLOSING AUGUST 1ST. I went to book a second week this morning. Sadly, I found out that this hotel was sold and is closing. So sad, I really liked it here. I've stayed at numerous Extended Stay America hotels over the past couple of years. This was one of the best ones. It's very quiet, in a great location, safe (right next to a local police station and firehouse), and I find it better overall than the one next to the mall down the street. My husband and stayed here one night before a flight. The price was fair and the room was in good condition. The kitchen could've used a more thorough cleaning, but we didn't have a need to use it during our short stay. I would recommend for a short or long stay as the price is right!

Staff was great! Helpful, fun interacting while checking in and out, getting free breakfast snacks and linens. Rate was the best I could find for the area we stayed during a holiday weekend. Pool was closed which sucks! Ants in room all over the ac unit. Full kitchen but you have to ask for everything including coffee. Shower sucked! No frills but we just needed a safe place to sleep while touring DC.

Rooms are in need of updating. Had to change rooms based on a leak in the room below. They wanted to place us in a room that had food splattered on the side of the fridge, floors sticky, and no doors on closet. It also smelled like someone went into the room and sprayed cheap cologne. We asked to be placed in another room but they claimed to be fully booked even though there were hardly any vehicles in the parking lot.
