I rented at $72/month in August 2024 and pre-paid 4 months. In January I saw they were now charging me $155/month. I contacted them and they said they had increased the monthly charge based on the market rate, and that since I was month-to-month they had the right to do so, and had sent me a notification of the rate change by **** in November. I never received it. I reached out and they wouldn't budge, and were rude. *****!

Avoid ALL Extra Space Storage Locations at all cost. They use bait and switch tatics. For a few months your rent will be the same the will have a very high increase due to "market conditions". Meanwhile unrented units are still listed at your low rate. Nothing but a con.

Extra Space Storage will rip you off right in front of your face. You sign up then 3 months later they are charging you more which includes their fees of mandatory insurance even if you are insured by homeowners and taxes and service which what is service. Locking people out because of raised rates without notice that people cant afford. Try to call corporate and the call goes back to employees that have no authority over rates. I think this storage place is horrible It doesn't get. Any worse over 900 complaints how are you allowed to be in business or have a A rating? I have no idea I give you a negative star ? if it was a option. I've. Had a storage with this place about a year and do auto pay. Get your little fake thank you txt msg ea.
