Dirty Deed with 3rd entity processed. No responses on claim requests. I have discovered Fidelity processed the title to my house that lists a 3rd entity on my deed who never signed any paperwork.I phoned once for advice and was told I would get a call back: Never called back. I emailed the president and vice president of Hawaii operations: no reply. I phoned the Kailua-Kona office and left a message: no reply. I am finally about to close on my condo I am selling. It has been the worst title process I have ever partook in. Not only did our escrow officer (Tia) quit her job in the middle of my closing, but the branch manager didn't think it was necessary to fill me in on this detail. So my paperwork was sitting in limbo with no progress. Being a Realtor here in Kona for the past 15 years I can’t tell how much I trust Fidelity National Title and Escrow, and the awesome crew they have! I consider Cody, Tia, Irene, and Stason a vital part my team, without the teamwork, we have nothing. we have had some tough escrows over the years and these guys are there for me 24/7. This is my first experience using Fidelity. They have been slow in everything. If they say they will get back to you in an hour, they won't... just wait 2 days then call them. They don't honor the 14 days you and seller agreed to for closing. They pay so little attention to you that your money would be better spent elsewhere. Growing a Koa tree may be quicker than Cody, and Tia ! Would not recommend these folk's !
As a mortgage lender in Kona for the past 16 years, I found excellent service with Fidelity and Tia Tagavilla. Tia's customer service to me as well as my clients led me to using her for most all of my refinance transactions. Having moved in to a different branch of lending recently, I will look forward to finding ways to continue to further my relationship with Tia and the team at Fidelity National Title.
