I was very disappointed to arrive at the location and see that there was only 2 out of 9 registers open. The line was extremely long and congested. My logic, as well as several other people would be the more lines open the quicker in and out people would be. It just seems that there could be a more efficient system that is also safer. Even if it was just 1-2 people per party. This is my first time trying FOX I hope the next time I come they have a better process in place. On Saturday August 8, there was an extremely high up charge for the Uber fares, so my boyfriend decided to rent a car on Priceline. We chose a mid size SUV and the transaction was paid for in advance. We took the escalator to the car rental terminal, only to see that it was closed and we had to wait at the booth in the parking garage. It is a wonder how they are still in business. I booked with them because of the rate I found through Priceline- my father actually warned me against them because they lost his reservation in a previous rental reservation and he said it was a nightmare. Thinking he was just being fussy, and not having all the disposable income in the world I figured the low rate was worth the gamble. I was WRONG. ****** W A CLASS ACTION LAWSUIT NEEDS TO BE FILED AGAINST FOX RENT A CAR FOR THERE BUSINESS PRACTICES the reviews on the BBB website concerning fox and how customers are treated is just sad and horrendous. I showed up to get my reservationat 1230 am my flight came in at midnight waiyed in line for an hour jst to be told they had NO MORE VEHICLES. I was told to go back to the airport and the rental companies would match the price well that was a lie. Took 2 hours to figure that out. So we caught the shuttle again went back to Fox at this point i was crying tired and my kids were hungry and sleepy I had 3 kids under 2 a 5yr old a 16yr old and my 22yr old daughter with me . I recently rented a vehicle from Fox Rent a Car. The car I chose online, was a Jeep Grand Cherokee. Instead of the Jeep Grand Cherokee, the only car available was a 2019 Misubishi Outlander - not even close to a Jeep Grand Cherokee. I asked why they don't have the car I rented and they told me that it said "Jeep Grand Cherokee or something similiar". I do not consider an Outlander even close to similiar to a Grand Cherokee. To whom it may concern, I rented a car from Fox Rent-a-car at San **** Airport on 7/18, due to return 7/27 and experienced a variety of issues. 1) The type of car reserved was not available. This is the 4th time in a row that was the case (I am a frequent renter). this was the worst car rental I have ever had. was told I was more than 3 hours late so they cancelled my car that was supposed to $101.00 and then put me in a SUV instead of a care and told me no additional charge but price went to $128.00. then said I had to take toll package because would be going thru many many tolls which cost $15.00 each I am from Missouri and don't have tolls so I didn't know that it was a lie. We recently booked through Priceline and declined all additional services with the exception of a toll tag, which we were told would cost $15. Everything was verbal and then we signed a digital keypad, got in our car left. When we turned in the car, they gave us a receipt. A day later a charge showed up on my credit card for more than the original price of the rental. The receipt we got had line items in codes that were not discernable.
