Very good gym for the area. Good workers and employees, very respectful. Great gym equipment. And overall a very good setup. Highly recommend this gym for the Powhatan/goochland area for anyone wanting to workout and get into it.
Every time I visit the Goochland YMCA for a class or use the exercise equipment, I am greeted by friendly, professional staff members. The exercise instructors are experienced, fun and attentive to class participants.
I love this Y! I'm new to the area and after a disappointing gym experience elsewhere gave this location a shot. It's awesome! Best part are the personal trainers who are always smiling, walking around, and chatting with people. Very friendly members. Size is just right. Thanks
As one of the closest gyms to many of the smaller towns and to the resort area of Lake Anna plus the implied safety in being a well known name with a manned desk (YMCA), I think it’s terrible you don’t offer day passes.
Everyone at the YMCA is really friendly and always there to assist with any concerns I have. I use the YMCA for the swim lanes on Tuesdays and Thursdays. The lifeguards are friendly and attentive while I swim. It’s a great way to start my day, especially with the staff greeting me with a warm smile.
