I enjoyed the casual atmosphere of this place! Good selection of beers (some craft varieties, some classic standards) tequila, delicious food and very friendly bartenders. Plus they have tables available outside. Do I want to sit outside on Excelsior Harbor on a beautiful afternoon? If it's in Haskell's then the answer will be an excited yes!
Great place to meet and hang out with friends. Casual atmosphere. Patio seating is a favorite. They really do have excellent burgers. They do have a great selection of beer however, it would be excellent if they had hard cider on tap. You do have the option of buying a bottle of your favorite wine at the attached liquor store and enjoying it for a corking fee. The staff is long-standing and ever friendly. Haskell's will always remain a favorite.
Phenomenal! The service was great! The food was AMAZING! We called ahead and made a reservation. Outdoor and indoor dining areas are available now. We were on the side of the building, outdoor seating, it wasn't too chilly due to the building blocking the wind off the lake. Definitely call ahead and make reservations. They are very busy. Several different ways to have a grilled cheese. I had mine with ham. It was as one would expect of a grilled ham and cheese sandwich at a bar, if not better than that. The bartender filled my coke every single time it was empty within two minutes of it being empty. I'd have lunch here any day o the week.
The experience I had was playing music in the jukebox. The bartender handed the remote to a patron who deleted my songs without letting me know two weeks in a row completely inappropriate so we’re not going back.
